The Tower Hotel, by Thistle

The Tower Hotel, by Thistle

10/10 Excellent
"The Tower Hotel was perfect for two Canadian friends staying in London for a week. The location was perfect, near a tube station, near access to the Tower Bridge and the Thames. We appreciated the access to the pool at a local Fitness Centre. The room was big for London and there was ample room between the two single beds. The bathroom had both shower and bathtub (albeit narrow). There is a Starbucks on site, a restaurant and food trucks just outside. The food was a bit pricey including the exchange. There is a Tesco next door that you can buy some meals. Very much recommended walking 10 min. up to the Goodman’s Field pub. The food is very affordable and meals include a pint. One thing we didn’t like about the hotel was there was no fridge in the room. We had request buckets of ice for our perishable food. We also felt totally safe around the hotel."
