"The welcome was very warm and using my first name automatically made me feel like an old friend rather than a visitor. Room was nice and clean, we were early arriving and were given the key immediately. The hotel’s staff, all of them, were extremely friendly. In the bar/restaurant the young gentlemen were very polite and shared a few conversations and made special efforts to ensure we had been served. Overall I could not fault the place at all. 10/10"

"We were lucky to get early check in, the process was smooth and friendly. Our room was excellent, large and clean, it all felt new and good quality. The bed was so cosy!!! Gorgeous duvet and comfy mattress! The bathroom is large and clean with a walk in shower. Our room was to the back of the pub in a separate building, so no noise disturbance, it was very quiet at night. Cunningham's bar is a lovely old fashioned type pub, plenty of seating, delicious food and a good atmosphere. All the staff wre friendly and helpful. It was busy on a Saturday night with live music. There are parking spaces but they were full, so we had to park up on a wide path with a kerb - not ideal, bumped the underside of the car coming off it. However it was free and on-street parking is not. "

"Generally a great hotel with good attentive staff. Leisure centre disappointing. Changing room has seen better days! Swimming pool wall felt slimey. Excessive? amount of chlorine in the pool! "

"Really enjoyed everything about our stay. The staff at the castle and at Hermione’s restaurant were friendly and helpful, the food was brilliant, the room wasspacious and the bed was comfy, the spa was very relaxing… no complaints and would definitely stay again."

"Very nice room including a lovely bathroom. Quiet hotel. Free parking. Friendly staff. My only complaint is that we wanted to watch Netflix before bed and we couldn’t figure out how to connect to Netflix on the TV. We watched Irish TV instead. "

"The pool was lovely, although the plunge pool wasn't working and the water was a little bit on the cold side. We still really enjoyed it. Rooms were clean and breakfast was lovely. Definitely will return. "
