Towering granite spires of Mount Fitz Roy loom over this hiker's paradise, where trails lead to jaw-dropping viewpoints like Laguna de los Tres. Los Glaciares National Park surrounds the town with pristine wilderness that feels almost untouched. After conquering the trails, rest weary legs at local breweries serving craft beers alongside hearty Argentine asado. Kayak the mirror-like waters of Lago del Desierto or take an easier walk to Salto El Chorrillo Waterfall. The Capilla de los Escaladores (Climbers' Chapel) pays tribute to those who've tackled these formidable peaks. For a perfect introduction, hike to Laguna Capri – the turquoise waters frame Fitz Roy in a way that explains why photographers wake at ungodly hours to capture it.
"Very friendly staff and a spacious room. Everything was clean and felt safe. A great breakfast was provided and delivered to the room the afternoon before, so you could enjoy it at any time before early morning hikes."
"Gorgeous, spacious rooms. Each room has a sitting area and outdoor deck. You can easily walk to everywhere in town. Once you park your car you can go to all trailheads by foot. Highly recommend! Maximus is incredible. He works the front desk and the restaurant. He is incredibly kind, hospitable, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Fabulous property representative!"
"property was good and clean, they provided breakfast which was pretty decent. Allan was very courteous and helpful.
Downside - We took a bus from elcalafate to elchalten. this apartment is 16-17mts walk from bus station - walking was not a problem but this was full gravel road so we had challenges to take our suitcases from station to this apartment. so recommend taking taxi from station if you stay here.
not giving 5 star because of distance from bus station. Also the staff that worked during evening hours messed up my taxi reservation - I requested taxi drop to laguna capri trailhead(5mts drive from property). didnt want to walk early morning in the dark for our laguna tres hike. the staff communicated as rio electrico trailhead. when i asked the taxi driver to drop us at laguna capri trailhead, he demanded 50,000pesos since the ride cannot be canceled so lost quite a lot of money.

"Beautiful hotel in very convenient location for trails and restaurants. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was fine - nothing special but very pretty dining area. "
