Excellent hotel with comfortable rooms at an outstanding location. Service and staff were great. Easy access to the bus for skiing and a good restaurant (only ate breakfast though they serve all meals). Definitely would return!
The room was nice as was the bathroom. We were right off the lobby near the elevator which is normally something that would drive me crazy but it was not an issue. The hotel was nice and left earplugs in our room just in case, but I had my Sleep Pillow app running on white noice, so we heard nothing. I want to put in a plug for the restocking, Farm to Table. Excellent. Had breakfast and dinner there and I highly recommend.

Excellent rustic experience. We received a complimentary upgrade to a bungalow and it was such a pleasant surprise. This property is nearly 90 years old and super well maintained and comfortable. Very much enjoyed our stay. The location on fantastic there was so much within walking distance. All the price was a bit high. It was worth it to be right in downtown Banff.
We loved everything about this hotel from the lobby to our room … and the jacuzzi hot tub. The Mountain View’s from the room were amazing. The staff gave us text access to connect with any needs and were very responsive. The beds were comfortable, and the room was decorated perfectly. The hotel is in a great location that give you great walk ability to Banff.

Amazing to have a 2BD/2BA hotel so close to downtown Banff. We were within 2 minutes walking of a grocery store, liquor store, restaurants, ski shop, and coffee shop. Parking garage is attached to building so you don’t have to go outside. 2 hot tubs on the roof with amazing views!
There was a problem with our booking in which it was rejected by the chalet but hotels.com showed the booking was still confirmed. This caused quite a headache at check-in (especially since there's really nowhere else around to stay if the booking fell through), but after a bit of insistence we were given a more expensive but discounted cabin. The service was the best I've experienced since the pandemic. The hotel remains one of my most favorite in the world for the serene beauty surrounding it.
This property is value priced but is tied to the property next door that has an excellent pool, work out room, steam room and restaurants. They are easy to access through the underground heated garage.
