"Kata for sure is a great hotel. Staff were amazing But they became very stingy with extra charges for my daughter even though the huge suite that I reserved was for three people. I didn’t like the way they managed our situation even though I mentioned this is my 30th anniversary and try to make fine for us. This issue really bothered us. "

Room was big, clean, quite with a safe, fridge, kettle etc. I came as a female solo traveler and felt welcomed and safe. "

"Good location close to bars, restaurants and markets. Ten minute walk to beautiful Kata beach. Staff were lovely. We had an issue with TV cable on arrival which took a few days to rectify. Room was clean but curtains were mouldy. "

"This is a small hotel. It is nice and well kept. The staff is really nice and helpful. I stayed in one of the bungalows overlooking the garden and pool. The room was backdated but it was clean and with very nice Aircon. It is well located. 15 minutes away from the beach. Well located for restaurants and shops. I had a lovely stay."

The restaurant in the hotel is excellent and you should definitely take advantage of the tour assistance in the restaurant:) The owners of the property were extremely nice and helpful throughout my stay. This is a great hotel and I highly recommend!"

"Sugar Ohana is a simply hotel, very clean and has a very good location, close to Kata Street Market(3-5 minutes walking) and a 10 minutes walking from Kata Beach. I do recommend this hotel for a short trip to Phuket Island!"
