"We just had a great stay at Kata Bai D in Phuket. Besides the very good location, the cleanliness and the unbeatable price (low season), the owner Sam is the main reason for our pleasent experience there. He always helped us alot with organizing all sort of things (airport pick-up, sights and restaurant recommendations...) and just made us feel welcome. The hotel is situated very close to Kata Beach with lots of restaurants and shops in the surrounding. However, it is quite far from Patong...

Only feedback she had, was that the TV was set to Chinese and that there were no Thai channels. :) She was positivity surprised by the recognition of her birthday by the staff and recommended we should stay there when I come to visit next time. "Super friendly owner and chilled place to stay. Very short walk the the beach (less than 5mins), 7/11 shop two doors down. Lovely restaurant on site - great food & surrounded by other options. Room was big, clean, quite with a safe, fridge, kettle etc. I came as a female solo traveler and felt welcomed and safe. "
