"For the price this place cannot be beat. Amazing location near night market (but I prefer fresh market- even closer and cheaper). Nice pool and 5 min walk to the beach. They will give you towels but it’s also easy to walk along the beach and snag a lounger and umbrella at a bar or resort if you buy a drink or two. Perfectly clean and comfy staff was amazing!"

"Ich war 3 Wochen im Grand Manita ,mit ner kleinen Unterbrechung . Es war sehr gemütlich ,ein kleines Resort mit einem wundervollen Garten ,der täglich gepflegt wurde .Direkt am Strand ,ein kleiner Pool ,aber sehr schön .Es herrschte ein privates Flair ,fussläufig konnte man gut nach Lamai . Sehr freundliches Personal ,auf Anfrage gab es auch Früstück ,täglich frische Handtücher und Wasser in Flaschen .Ich würde es sofort wieder buchen ."

"I made a reservation in October for December 29. The confirmation email, approx. two pages long, only mentioned at the very bottom that checkin closes at 6pm. Unacceptable. That should be upfront in LARGE PRINT. Hotels.com finds it acceptable. I will no longer do business with them."

"Outstanding rooms- like your own apartment with the ability to cook your own meals. Their breakfast buffet is great. Their coffee is excellent, including awesome espresso from quality beans and expertly made. Laundry by the kilo is inexpensive. Renting motorbikes is inexpensive. Their restaurant and bar area is beautiful and on the beach. The staff are helpful and friendly. When I return to Koh Samui, I will stay here above anywhere else. "This was quite a nice hotel for the amount that I paid. It’s a bit rough around the edges but care is taken to really give the place a luxury, wellness vibe. It’s right on Lamai beach and not very crowded. Plenty of options to find your own private swimming spot on the beach, which i really liked. There are 2 nice big swimming pools and the surroundings are so very nicely landscaped. "
