"This is a wonderful hotel. It is a family run establishment and everyone is very attentive and helpful. The breakfast is wonderful and healthy. "Very good hotel, the rooms are beautiful, and the view over the mountains are incredible. Beds are comfy, the bathroom is good and there is a nice breakfast. Location is not the most convenient, it's along the main road in middle Pelling, the restaurants tend to be more in upper Pelling although all hotels have their own restaurants. "Chumbi resort location is such that from our room 1009 lying down in the bed you could see the 1st rays of son faliing on the mighty Kanchenjhonga the 3rd tallest mountain in the world. Surrounding natural beauty is at its best from Chumbi Resort. Ambience,Staff, Room quality, food and overall service was exceptional and would ask nature lovers to opt for this one and not in the cluster of hotels in Pelling Bazaar area. Simply superb."

Food was tasty and delicious. They prepared it early morning before 7am also because we need to start early to catch flight. The staff is incompetent and except a very few they do not pay any attention to the customer's needs. For every room service (water, towel etc.) one needs to call up the reception multiple times.
