"It is in a great location! Close to the River Arno and major attractions. It is basic accommodation though. The staff were efficient at check in and we didn’t see them again. The rooms have fridges in the closest. The bathrooms were new & modern and comfortable beds. Very clean and air con was lovely!"

"This hotel was exceptional! The grounds were beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful. The location was perfect. The only downside was they don't have smart TVs and limited stations in English. We have to sleep to TV, but they are getting them soon. Otherwise, I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay. We will be back!"

"The photos were good but the reality is even better. This was a nunnery previously and is a traditional building set on a piazza. Imagine cool tiles, sweeping staircases and huge wooden doors. Spotlessly clean with large airy rooms and shuttered windows overlooking (in our case) rooftops and onto the hills beyond. A short walk to all the major sites, good breakfast and peaceful garden...perfect!"

Claudia was so kind and inviting, and helped us with anything we needed during our stay. Florence is a beautiful city and this lovely hotel made the trip even more memorable."

"Great location on the less touristy side of the Arno River near local restaurants and bars. Giulia at the front desk was wonderful as well!! Cons: The air conditioner was not strong enough for the heat wave leaving the room at 26.5C/80F each night. The shower design was modern but didn’t drain well, so flooded the floor during each shower. No one was at the desk at 8am to check me out , pay local taxes, and order a taxi, so that was a little stressful. Pros: very secure & quiet building, legit platform King bed (not 2 beds pushed together) with a firm mattress was heaven for us. The room was huge with old frescoes on the ceiling that was super cool!"
