"Bucaneiro is centrally located so you can easily walk to downtown to the east and also to Praia do Forno, Praia Brava, and Rocka restaurant. The bathroom is quite small but there was enough space in the room for our luggage. Only 1 person on staff really understood English but he helped us with our bags up to the room and showed us around the property. "I took my mom there for Mother’s Day weekend and we had an amazing time. Staff were super friendly, the food and drinks at the hotel were 10/10 and the pool area was beautiful. I highly recommend this place. I’ve been to a few different hotels in Buzios but this one was the best!"

"This hotel had an incredible view. There isn’t much there, everything is far and it is up a very big climb. The incredible view does make the climb and inconvenience worth it though. Nobody really talked to me there, my room was ok but in need of some repairs. I don’t think it was worth the money paid to stay here.
