"Friendly staff, but only one doing check-in at a busy time. Neighbouring room was very close and walls a bit thin, so not so quiet. Air conditioning/heating was on automatic and no remote to change this. TV worked, but connection to internet had issues and then casting was not possible. Conveniently location for taking buses into city and out to Eden Park. Kitchen area was good, but we had five people and only four of everything. Parking was expensive and hard to get car into/out of parking area."

"We love the vibe of this hotel. Our room was great (although quite dark!) and clean. Our bed was so comfortable. The bar upstairs is awesome and room service was quick and delicious. We were a little disappointed at check-in, however. We had requested early check-in which, on arrival, they couldn’t do which is fair enough and they said they can only guarantee that rooms are ready at 3pm. We came back at 3pm but our room still wasn’t ready so we had to wait another 30 minutes and so we were late for our event."
