We were so impressed with this hotel. Not only is it absolutely beautiful on the inside, with all its high end finishes, but the staff was incredible. My husband asked the front desk if they had an extra adapter, and they said they would look and let us know. 20 minutes later, a staff member came to our door with one in new packaging saying they couldn’t find one, but a staff member ran out to the store to buy one so that my husband didn’t have to venture out. Really above and beyond.
We stayed two nights at the Radisson Blu in Cork. It was a nice, clean hotel. Our family of four stayed in a family room which was two rooms connected. One room had a queen or king size bed. One room had 2 single beds. It was very nice having 2 bathrooms to shower and dress in the mornings. Staff was friendly. Pool/spa area was lovely. Food in the bar was very good.
This hotel is beautiful, the reception staff wonderful, the rooms tiny but very nice. Our complaint was with the restaurant and bar. We went to the restaurant to have a drink. They asked if we had a reservation, we said no. They directed us to the bar. Again here at the bar they asked if we had a reservation. We said no. They referred us to the restaurant. Beautiful old mansion turned into a hotel. Very comfortable rooms. Lovely Lithuanian lady managing the place was very nice and helpful and served a terrific breakfast. A pleasant night halt on our trip.
The staff, hotel and amenities were fabulous. We rented an apartment would highly recommend cooking facilities (not that I did any of that on holiday) full size fridge, washing machine etc. The apartment was really great.
One very important thing I need to make traveler’s aware of if driving yourself and not part of a tour. Ignore the sat nav directions it tells you to take lovers walk to the hotel do not do it what a nightmare. This road is only made for one car not two. Unfortunately...
