Everyone made me feel very welcomed. Great hospitality. Everyone was friendly. Very clean and comfortable room. I went in August but I took the lift up the mountain, Beautiful views in all directions. Breakfast was fantastic. The pool/sauna were relaxing.
Too far to go back and forth between Chur and the resort, but you won't want to leave Alpina anyway. Beautiful jaw-dropping hikes abound...

What a fantastic hotel and little town. If you haven't been to Liechtenstein, I suggest you start with a night or two at this hotel in Triesenberg, a small town perched on a steep slope above Vaduz. Our top floor suite was super clean with modern amenities and an absolutely stunning view.
You can never go wrong with a Relais and Chateau recommendation but this place has it all. Comfortable rooms with a view of the Vaduz castle and the valley toward Switzerland. Enjoyed the Marrée restaurant and the exquisite food on the well decorated terrace. The personal welcome by the Lady of the house made this a memorable experience.
Arrived after dark after a flight from the U.S. and train to Chur. Stayed one night as we took the Bernina Express the next morning. Hotel is modern and spacious enough and convenient to the train station (8-10 minute walk). Breakfast was very good and early enough to catch the BE which departs at 8:30 AM. There is a good Italian restaurant across a side street from the hotel. Wish we had planned to be in Chur longer as it looked to be an interesting place to explore.

Delightful cafe with an excellent breakfast. The rooms are large and well appointed. Mine had a nice balcony with a view of the castle. The weather was unseasonably warm but the large ceiling fan worked perfectly. There is a comfortable gathering room with couches, tables and chairs along with self service beverages and games. I would definitely stay here again.
Super clean, super friendly staff, very comfortable. Very few amenities but it's a low cost hotel. Also it's on a business park so you have to drive for dinner. Not sure I'd recommend 18CHF breakfast - it was a very good breakfast, but 18CHF? Other than that you get good value for what you pay for this hotel. I'd definitely stay again.
Great location. If you are travelling by the Lichtenstein bus from Sargans (Bus # 11). Get off at Vaduz post or stadtle and walk to the hotel (5 min). We had rooms 303 & 305. Absolutely wonderful rooms. Overlooking the street. The back of the hotel backs into the cliff that the castle is on!! Late night revelry kept us awake. Wonderful fans. Great breakfast, but overpriced at 25 euros each. My 11 year old was free.
The hotel is brand new and conveniently located close to the highway. We had a high room away from the elevator as requested, with modern design and a nice view with huge windows.
There is a shopping mall in the building complex.
Breakfast was good but somewhat limited in choice.
If you plan to drive there, call in advance and clarify the situation for parking. There are only 10-15 spots which seem quite less than the amount of rooms available in the hotel.
