The hotel has a more B&B feel and is certainly the best part of my trip apart from Sun Moon lake itself in Nantou. The decor is well though and brownie points for the bathroom. The location is near perfect, as one can see the distant lake right from the window (if you select Lake view). Its not far, and yet not very near. We had a fantastic stay at Fleur de Chine. This is an exceptional hotel on all fronts. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a suite with Tatami room and incredible views across Sun Moon Lake from our terrace. Our kids had a blast in the pools and with the many activities. The location right on Sun Moon Lake allowed for some great walks around the lake and hikes through the surrounding forest. The staff were also incredible from check in to check out and always took the time to prioritize guests....
