Beautiful hideaway, had problems finding a international atm and not much grocery options. The food was great and close to the whale sharks. Bring pesos no money changer. But it was a beautiful ocean view Dumaguete off in the distance..
The individual properties themselves inside the resort were fantastic. The resort, well kept and clean. The Staff were amazing... incredibly helpful, friendly and attentive.
The property itself is good for a family wanting to stay in nature, it is very near the beach. Charles the groundkeeper was very nice and can take you on short trips for a small fee.
Having very close access to the beach was a huge plus for us, especially when the tide was out and the kids were able to explore the rocks.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant served very tasty dishes, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. The hotel is next to the ocean and the sunrise is amazing!
If you are planning to go to Kawasan Falls. This is the place to stay and you can book Canyoneering with the hotel. Even though!our check out was at noon, they accomodated us to shower at the hotel room after the canyoneering. Very convenient that we took a 7am trip and could leave our things at the hotel room as they said it was okay.
We highly recommend the Hotel Palwa. Our third-floor room was in great condition: mattress and pillows were comfortable, Wi-Fi, shower, toilet, AC all worked very well. The hotel room was quiet, yet it is easily within walkable distance to downtown attractions. As a side note, there is a small bakery directly south, across the street, which serves the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had!
