Iberostar Selection Santa Eulalia Ibiza - Adults-Only

"All the staff were excellent; friendly, professional and helpful. The room (105) we were given looked directly onto a massive building site. The hotel had not warned us. We stayed in it one night and were moved to another room, just 3 doors down (108). The building site was less in your face but still visible. However it was brightly light by a massive floodlight that shone directly into our room all night, making it seem like daylight. We were then moved to a room on hotel's other side (227), which had the side view of the sea we'd paid for & a sunny balcony. When we complained about our room we got the impression the hotel use the building site as an opportunity to upsell guests to more expensive rooms eg we were offered Star Prestige if we paid an extra E100 per night. No thanks! - just give us we'd paid for. Rooms small but adequate. Bed comfortable and air conditioning very good. Safe and minibar in room and shower spacious and efficient. Food well prepared and imaginative. Pastry chefs in particular are excellent. V little free parking on site but free fenced tourist parking a short walk away. Hotel doesn't enforce its rule that sunbed baggers will have their towels removed. We were unable to get a bed by the pool before 4pm. Pool is long & thin with 2 rows of beds either side, so swimming in it you felt everybody looking at you. There are no hotel grounds apart from a wooded sunbathing area. 'Beach' is tiny without proper sand. Few local amenities."

"What a great 3* hotel and I would not hesitate to stay again. The hotel itself is very clean including the pool area, rooms were cleaned to high standard and the dining room was cleared/cleaned quickly. Rooms are small and basic, maybe a bit dated but they have comfortable beds, clean, have a little fridge, it’s all you need. Found the aircon worked well although. The pool area is very clean and well set out. It was very deep at the end which my children loved. They do not allow vaping/smoking which I personally liked. There are enough beds if people don’t hog them or take more than they need. The front rows go first taken by the early birds but as people come and go we were able to find beds at both 11am and one day around 2. So no need to stress about beds (we stayed last week of august so still peak season) We liked the food and thought in the restaurants there was a good selection. There were some items that repeated especially on the snacks but you can eat in the restaurant if you want a wider choice. The kids liked getting the little ice creams through the day. Between the breakfast sitting at ‘all inclusive’ starting at 11 there is a slight gap of time but no big deal. Drinks work on a token system which worked allowing one drink at a time, not a problem. The staff are friendly everywhere in this hotel but the reception staff were very helpful and I really appreciated their help!"

"Wonderful hotel! I have stayed here twice now, once with mum and most recently with my husband and two children and both times we have had a fantastic experience. The hotel has a lovely chilled vibe, it is so easy to relax around the pool. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to return again!"
