I can't say enough about this beautiful property! Our suite was wonderful in all respects, and the hospitality and kindness of our hosts was unparalleled. Maison du Frene is located in a lovely spot in Vence, and wonderful restaurants and shops are just steps away. We felt welcomed and truly 'at home' from the moment we arrived until our departure. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Vence!

This was such a lovely hotel with a beautiful SPA, amazing view from the outside heated jacuzzi which we enjoyed very much, inside heated swimming pool was also lovely and clean too, friendly and helpful staff, a close walk to the old town of Vence. This is a very sweet smaller simple hotel with a lot of charm and is run by the sweetest family of all ages They are very kind and the main person who works here speaks English and is extremely helpful. This is a very affordable place in a nicer area outside of Nice with some pretty views. It’s more ideal for someone who has a car or can take rides or the bus into Nice to see the sights there because Vence is further away.

From its history, to all its ornamental architecture, to all of its artwork, we simply did not want to leave. Fascinating stay. Well trained staff who exceeds every expectation.

I enjoyed my 4 nights stay at Hotel De Provence. This hotel is a block from Rue D'Antibes (main shopping center) and maybe two blocks from the beach. Near to restaurants and everything Cannes has to offer. Jean was gracious, and helpful with directions to the nearest attractions. Slavica was also attentive and both speak good english. I was originally assigned to a smaller back room, which was very cozy, however, was comfortable, had hot shower, bed and pillows were good. He offered to move...
Hotel could not have been better. Such a beautiful area, less than 10 minutes walk to the train station, eat breakfast while looking at the cathedral, and attached to a cafe with a ton of gluten free options. The staff were also all so absolutely lovely and helpful, every single one went above and beyond. Cannot recommend this place enough!
the rooms were well appointed with queen size beds. The rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels. The light breakfast is excellent. The view is amazing and is in an excellent location with in a block from the park and ocean. there is not air conditioning but the time of year I went was lovely and did not require it. Also, if you are unable to take stairs I would say this location is not for you because there is not a lift.
The staff could not be more friendly or helpful.
The property is centrally located and kept in excellent shape.
