We reserved this hotel because it was not far from Narbonne and had easy parking, but we didn’t know what to expect. Needless to say, it exceeded our expectations. Superb service from the front desk, delicious and full breakfast, very comfy bed and strong air conditioning. It was the perfect stop on our road trip.
The Chateau lies gently uphill from the town center, and is a mid 19th century building beautifully restored and expanded on the the premises, which are surround by vineyards. Beautiful, calm, and beautifully cared for, our visit exceeded our expectations. The staff was knowlegable, spoke good English, and catered to our every need. Dinner at their restaurant was wonderful - and we enjoyed a wine tasting prior to dinner, one of a planned series of events to make the chateau a center of both...
I wish I could give Domaine Beaupré 100 stars—and also want to keep this gem to myself. M husband and I were travelling w our college aged daughter before dropping her off for a semester abroad. This vineyard stay was utterly charming. Clean and comfortable, with charming antique decor, warm and intimate. Breakfast was simple but scrumptious with eggs and fruit from the farm. Only 4 guest rooms (all named by color and decorated to match) made it whimsical and friendly. Pool was a lovely respite...
Kind and welcoming service. The tourist sites around the hotel are extraordinary. The pool and restaurant make it a pleasure to come back at the end of a long day of sightseeing. I recommend the Veal Chop for sure.
