"The hotel was easy to find and the free car park was good. The location is good, just a short walk in to the centre of Canterbury. Staff were helpful but the hotel is a bit 'tired'. I think some refurbishing is going on as the reception area and bar looked clean and modern but the rest had shabby carpet and worn out fittings & fixtures, e.g. our shower rail (the shower was over the bath) was very rusty. However, the bed was comfortable and breakfast was good."

Didn't have a breakfast. Tried the small gym and small swimming pool, access code changes daily. The once beautiful grounds need a bit more attention . Free parking, decent price. Highly recommended"
