"A lovely big room with a balcony and sea views next trip around the area we will come back again. Just the lift is so small and old school the hotel is busy and amazing but you need to wait for long if you have luggages or if you’re strong enough take the stairs 😂but in overall everything marvellous breakfast, spa and more "
"The hotel isn't modern, but it's pleasant. Everything is close by: restaurants, shops, and a bus station. The view from the window is beautiful, and the beach is a 10-15-minute walk away. The staff was very helpful.
One minor drawback was the room service: we had to ask for fresh towels or toilet paper even though someone was in our room every day because shampoo sachets were left behind. "
"Fabulous helpful service, very comfortable beds and fantastic shower, clean and bright. Great choice at breakfast with food of very good quality. Parking facility for ev, pre-bookable in advance was very convenient. Would definitely recommend and will stay again when in Ashford. Also, short walking distance to town centre and across the road from train station with service directly into London"
"We got to the hotel early so that we could look around Canterbury. Parking at the hotel is via an App,(it was not like that last time we stayed), being Old it took us over half an hour to pay for the parking, bare that in mind if you are old and not OK with modern Apps and you don't have a smart phone the telephone numbers on the "Ringo notice board do not help with paying for parking", basically a nightmare. Hotel was fantastic, clean, bed was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing in the morning was great, continental or full English. At the end of the Car Park is a "Wetherspoons" so the evening meal was excellent:- 2 Fish, Chips and Peas, a Pint of Cider and a Brandy and coke £23.50 all in. All in all we had a lovely time at the Falstaff, Canterbury."
