The breakfast was very good with a range of cereals, fruit and yoghurt, juices as well as full cooked breakfast. If you’re there on a Thursday you can see the local sea shanty group rehearse who were brilliant. Would highly recommend!"

Spacious, well-equipped room with comfortable bed, sofa, armchair, TV, coffee machine and kettle. Large bathroom with walk in shower. Nice welcome, pleasant conversation, helpful owner. Excellent breakfast with various choices."

"I would love to keep this gem of a find a secret but that wouldn’t be fair to them!! Sharon and Daryl are so welcoming we felt we had known them for many years, great knowledge and ideas where to go as we hadn’t been to Ilfracombe before. The room spotless with the most comfortable super Kingsize bed and the bathroom amenities were so gorgeous I’ve googled where to source! Where do I start with the breakfast it’s obviously locally sourced as it was absolutely delicious!!! Sharon and Susan give you a super morning greeting and nothing is too much trouble… coffee yummy too!! Can’t wait to return as said by the other guests we met at breakfast!!"

The only reason I wouldn't say 5 is: - check in was delayed by an hour or so. - there was no spatula. - the hob fan and light didn't work - the microwave defrost was more like full power. - I didn't know what to do with the bins. Maybe I missed this somewhere. Would stay again"
