LilyRose Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"There were many steps to climb but our room(11) was clean with a comfy bed and a good shower room. The owners were helpful. Good view of the Abbey lit up at night. Id go again but not on the Regatta weekend too many drunks shouting in the street."
The Whalebone Arch
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely fantastic stay, the room was immaculate, very clean and spacious with a king size bed, the bathroom was large and very clean, we was in the attic room and I think , for me, the only thing I'd alter would be the size of the shower, I'd make it a bit bigger because there's plenty of room for it, other than that I can't fault anything else about it. We came on the train and all be it, it's a fair walk from the station but there's plenty of taxis to take you up the hill. The views were amazing as well. Both me and my partner would like to thank the staff for looking after us and,i think we will be coming back again. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit whitby and have a fantastic stay"
The Mallyan Spout Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Been coming here for years, consistently a quality, peaceful luxury break,if you love nature and England at it's finest I recommend it"
Royal Whitby
8/10 Good
"Spacious rooms. Very clean. Breakfast basic choices but nicely cooked and presented. Bar area modern since recent upgrade with good service and OK prices. Reserved parking space at time of booking hotel, due to reduced mobility, occupied by another car which could not be identified by hotel and even with note attached remained there for next 24hrs followed by a different car doing same!"
Penny Hedge, Whitby by Marston's Inns
10/10 Excellent
"Very well maintained, great value, fantastic breakfast and evening meal, staff were very friendly and approachable,"
Station Inn
8/10 Good
"Room 3 on the top floor, great view of the harbour. Pub with rooms but it was quiet and not disturbed by any noise downstairs. Very clean and seems to have been newly refitted or at the very least. Very well maintained. Big bathroom and finished to high spec. Would stay again."
Argyle House
8/10 Good
"Good value B&B in a good quiet location on the west cliff. Very short walk to the whale bones and nearby pubs/restaurants as well as reasonable walking distance from the train or bus station, but also provides parking permits if needed. Room had a decent fan which was helpful over the warm weather. Bill was a helpful host and sorted an issue for us very quickly."
Saxonville Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Good hotel - good location - great staff - bonus of parking"
The Wilson Arms
10/10 Excellent
"An excellent place to stay it has been refurbished to a extremely high standard excellent meals friendly staff"
