George Albert Hotel & Spa
8/10 Good
"The inside of the hotel is great, clean and modern. Big rooms and comfy bed, decent breakfast. Don’t be put off by the exterior and surroundings."
The Royal Lion Hotel
8/10 Good
"Parking was a bit tight but eventually parked Lovely spot for a hotel though Staff all very helpful and polite Have booked for another weekend in January"
The Walnut Tree Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I stayed here with my daughter and parents for 2 nights either side of our holiday to Cornwall and it was lovely! The room was spacious and had everything we needed and breakfast was delicious. We had dinner in the restaurant and was all cooked beautifully. The staff were also so friendly. I read the reviews re the decor etc but honestly, this to me added to the ‘homely’ feel. We stayed over a weekend and was the quietist hotel we have ever stayed at overnight re sleep quality…..so peaceful. Highly recommend."
The Dolphin

"Excellent breakfast"
ibis Bridgwater
10/10 Excellent
"We arrived late but the staff were excellent. Would highly recommend & will definitely stay again."
The Bull Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Location very good. Staff and service exceptionally good."
The Crossways
10/10 Excellent
"Staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much. We checked in very late and staff were still available to help. Breakfast was fantastic. Service was brilliant and again staff were really helpful. Room was nice. Suitable for our needs though could do with a freshen up, but clean and all the amenities we needed."
Sleeping Bear Hotel Dorchester
10/10 Excellent
"We arrived late at the Sleeping Bear Hotel and the self check-in was incredibly easy and smooth. We simply pressed the green button by the door and followed the instructions. Walking through the hallway, staircase and lovely sitting/living room area with my daughter, we were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and cosy everything looked. There were lots of comfortable sofas with cushions, making it feel just like home, and we loved that we could make coffee from the machine whenever we wanted. Our room was very clean and cosy, and the mattress was unbelievably comfortable and soft. At check-out, the two lovely ladies at reception even found me a takeaway cup so I could take my coffee with me. A truly wonderful stay — I will definitely be coming back!"
Holiday Inn Taunton by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Very helpful and friendly staff from check in to the restaurant staff. Hotel room was clean and the food in the restaurant was great. The outside could have been a bit tidier due to a lot of cigarette butts lying around but that was a small issue really."
