EXCELLENT stay! We arrived extremely late after a long day sightseeing. We were greeted by an extremely friendly front desk clerk (wish I got his name) who immediately checked us in.
The following morning, we went in search of the Castles dog. We found him doing his job, right in front of the castles entrance! Grounds were lovely, Irish people have to be the absolute kindest people on earth!

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ireland as a must stay. The hotel itself was luxurious without being pretentious, the staff was so very helpful, it is centrally located to beach in Ballybunion, sightseeing in Killarney and the ring of Kerry, and a short drive to Adare and neighboring sights. This place was exquisite and we plan to return in the future. The staff was very helpful and delightful. The restaurant was outstanding for both breakfast (excellent buffet) and dinner (spectacular). The setting is beautiful and walking distance from Muckross Abby and Muckross House. The walking paths are tranquil and well kept. A beautiful place that we LOVED and highly recommend.
Salmon Falls was lovely, we were a little sad to only be spending one night there (we drove a big loop through Ireland, so jumped between several hotels). They were very warm and inviting and friendly. Our room was comfortable and huge, could've fit multiples of some of the other rooms in it, particularly the bed was comfortable. The delicious breakfast is especially not to be missed.
