I don’t know what to say, really, as words would be impossible to convey the charm, beauty, and real friendliness of the proprietors! We were overnighting for the inter island ferry leaving Picton so only stayed one night but wish we had time to stay longer. The accommodations were first rate and literally everything that was needed was provided plus more. If we had lacked anything, our hosts would have gladly provided it. Very convenient to airport but difficult to walk at night if you haven’t done it before.

An elevator would be helpful if you have heavy luggage.

What sets this hotel apart is the attention you get from the staff. When we checked in we were treated like VIPs, not in a gushy, fawning way but as if there was nothing more important at that moment than explaining things to us and trying to get us a dinner reservation. The room was immaculate and the bed was the most comfortable on our trip.

Close to museum and other attractions. Room is small but very well organized No view from our room but that didn’t matter. We had a nice stay

Vary helpful staff

This hotel was in a perfect spot for exploring Wellington on foot. Easy walk to the Te Papa museum, cable car and Parliament. Located on bustling Cuba Street, we had several great meals very close to the hotel. Room was spacious and had everything we needed. All in all, a great place to stay at a reasonable price.

The property charged me for parking when i stayed for 3 days which is not acceptable

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The room was clean and comfortable. Communication with the front desk was great, we received multiple emails prior to our arrival with check in, property, and parking information. The property is located just a short walk from Cuba St. so there were tons of shopping and dining options located within walking distance. One thing to note is that you do have to walk up a short flight of stairs to enter the property, which was a bit tricky with heavy luggage,...

The room had everything we needed and was clean. The hotel restaurant was very good and the staff were pleasant. The only complaint was the noise. Outside the window it sounded like loud construction all night long. Very disturbing. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and thought it was an excellent location, and close to the car ferry dock to leave for the South Island in the AM.
