"Fabulous hotel, lovely General Manager who conducts tours daily on history of hotel and surroundings. Great restaurant and bar downstairs with happy hour in evening. Would thoroughly recommend "
"Stayed here for one night, I had the 'Tall' room which had more space to move around. The wi-fi connection was great, the place was quiet and the reception staff very helpful and pleasant. The location was fantastic, very close to the waterfront.
The only negative aspect was condition of the toilet, every time I used it there was urine all over it and all over the floor.. the person cleaning the rooms (unlike the reception staff) was not the friendliest person and never said a 'hello'... I stayed away from him.. "
"Wow, what an amazing stay at LaLa! I understand all of the 10/10 reviews. The hotel itself is in a gorgeous, historic building that has been meticulously updated and designed to feel quaint and cozy. It's unique and charming beyond anything I have seen before. There are special little touches all over, from the coffee bar to the garden sitting areas to the candy jars (my daughter loved this).
The owners of the boutique are Guy and Barbara and they are incredibly nice and helpful for their guests. Anything you need, any questions you have, they are available to point you in the right direction. We had the pleasure of meeting them one morning at their wonderful new cafe just a block away and talked for a while. It felt like they were old friends.
The location is pretty good, easy to get to Jaffa and other parts of Tel Aviv by car or bus. Seems like an up-and-coming area being revitalized. Not a ton right around there but maybe that is changing. The free parking was much appreciated (and rare in TLV). Huge parking lot across the street and about 5 spots right on the side of the hotel. For kids, there is a huge and really nice park right across the street.
Cannot wait to go back and stay there again! My daughter keeps saying she misses LaLa and how nice it was. "
