This has to be the best location if you want to stay away from touristy places. It is perfect for day trips to Venice, Vicenza, and Verona. There are fascinating small towns with interesting architecture, and history. I had forgotten what a lovely aroma permeates the air when the jasmine is in bloom. This is also close enough to explore the Italian alps and Lake Garda, plus tons of vineyards and several castles. Just a few minutes away is Montecchio Maggiore, home to the Romeo and Juliet castles...

I would 100% recommend this place for several reasons! Location is excellent the arena can be seen from your balcony and the park, where many tours meet, is also right there. We stayed in the Tosca room. It was lovely, spacious and very comfortable. Staff had great recommendations for local dining. We were served an excellent breakfast in our room. Our only regret is that we stayed only one night. Tip: if you’re driving, call the hotel first and give them your license plate number so you can drive through the restricted old town to drop your luggage at the hotel before going to off-site parking.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spotless and very quiet and comfortable. Viviana is a wonderful hostess who is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and always very prompt. This B&B was in a perfect location for us - it is about a 15-minute from the train station and a 10-minute walk to the main square. We want to return to Verona and hope we will be able to stay here again.
