"I stayed here for a conference so the location was excellent. My booking stated deluxe room but it was just a large room; I thought breakfast was included but it wasn't. The mattress was saggy and the lighting was awful - tiny bedside lights or dim overhead lights - no table lamp for working. The bathroom was so dark it was very difficult to apply or remove makeup - better lighting is essential. It was also noisy late at night on the street frontage sides of the hotel. But, it was clean and the staff were very nice."

"Excellent location for cycling and quiet holiday and visit to Girthorn village. Very spacious rooms with excellent heating and bedding. Breakfast offered hot and cold food at reasonable price. "
