Hotels in Mandaue

"Suppose to be a 5 stars hotel, but services provided, doesn’t support that; All times I went out of the hotel, or came in, there was NEVER a bellboy at the entrance, to help with the luggage. On the day of my arrival, I had to take out my heavy suitcase from the taxi’s trunk by myself, since there is no one out there to help you. If by coincidence they notice you from within the hotel, they would come to help, but in most cases, it is too late… Executive lounge is nice. One day everything was fine, the other day, they forgot to put spoons and tools, in order that you will be able to take some food from the display. Even after I told them, they took out some, but still some of the dishes were missing those spoons. Has to be a regular manual, that they go by, to control the quality of all regular operations. No envelopes or papers in the room, a standard in 5 star hotels. Other than that, it was quite nice."

"The beach and the pool were excellent. Staff and customer service were excellent. Room was very clean. Whenever you called reception and asked for something you needed in the room, they were very quick to answer and delivery was quick. Staff were very attentive. "

"Easy to get to and from places via Grab, the hotel overall was nice, however the bathroom layout was very strange. Difficult to close the doors to the bathroom, and not able to close it off from the front door. The bathroom sink has very little counter space, and there are not a lot of places to hang things."

"The hotel beach side is lovely. I love the Acqua restaurant. The food is excellent especially the breakfast buffet. It is very clean and the staff and servers were exceptional! They all are friendly and helpful. The staff in the executive lounge were also very hospitable. I cannot say the same for Tides. Tides restaurant during our Feb 14 dinner buffet was not good. The food buffet selection was awful. I see multiple empty or almost empty platters. So there’s not much to eat. We always had to wait for the back kitchen to refill the server platters. Lastly, my only complaint was the laundry charges. I had a one time laundry fill the bag for php 3500. Upon checkout the total laundry php 10323. That’s about $120 USD! I submitted this issue and no one has responded to me. It’s been over 2 weeks since we left for US"

"Kitchen had some utensils adequate for takeout meals. In our 3-night stay, no room cleaning was done, possibly because our stay straddled on weekend days. Spacious enough for 3 guests. Good and safe parking area. In-room breakfast was a plus. "
