"Functional for Masters week. 850 a little steep "

"Didn’t have a room available "

"This Hampton Inn and Hotels.com completely changed my otherwise long time commitment to each company. My extreme dissatisfaction with our treatment relative to this hotel has not been fully expressed at this point. This hotel was to be where we stayed for my sons visit to The Masters Golf Tournament in near by Augusta. I secured the room on December 2nd 2025. When we arrived, we were told our reservation had deen canceled, this was obviously the first problem. *(Apparently when booking through Hotels.com, they pay for the room via one virtual, Hotels.com credit card, not the credit card we give as the users of their service. Far more frequently than people are aware of, the charge gets declined. This happens despite the successful transaction on my end with the room being charged to my banking account. The actual hotel is given no information needed to contact me. Hotels.com takes no action to inform their clients of the issue. The problem is only reveled when the traveler arrives on site for their stay. All the while the traveler is actually getting emails indicating all is well) The person at the desk said there was one room remaining, we felt relief. But then as we stood there, to our dismay, Hampton Inn allowed the room to be booked via an online reservation and we were suddenly told we were completely screwed despite having paid $350+ back in early December 2025. My characters are running out. The situation goes from bad to disgusting from here. "

"I do not know how Hotels.com can possibly have this property as a recommendation for a 6.4 rating or a good rating. The local reviews on this property are more accurate, constant smoking in and out of the hotel with cigarette smoke permeating the supposedly non-smoking premises day and night, constant noise outside of the doors in the parking lot with people, talking, smoking, leaving their work vehicles on and running loudly even at 4 AM and 5 AM, gaps between the doors and the outside parking lot, not a safe feeling environment. All of these statements are stated in the local review reviews which approximate 1.5 stars average. All of my clothes, luggage, even the CPAP machine, had to be cleaned several times just to get the smoke smell out of them. You should visit in person to confirm for yourself. This causes me not to trust Hotels.com at all for any hotel recommendation."

"Great stop for the Masters. "

"The room was not clean. The curtains and the shower curtain were disgusting. And the room smelled like somebody had been smoking in there for 20 years. You literally woke up in the morning and you could taste the cigarettes in your mouth. The smell is in the mattress, the pillows and the sheets quite honestly it was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever experienced."

"Great location and breakfast"

"Breakfast so-so, staff very nice. No safe"

"The staff were very friendly. However, our room carpet had many stains on it. Also, the bathroom tub faucet would not shut off completely. The windows were not clean & the towels were thin."
