The Dawson House Bed & Breakfast Is a wonderful place to stay for discovery Charlottetown city center. The house is well decorated, very clean and cosy. Donna is a great hostess and a good référence for visiting the Island. We highly recommand this B&B, we had a wonderful stay!
To start with, the room was clean and bright. The breakfast was unexpectedly good because they offered a vegan breakfast which aligns with our preferred way of eating. And that they had laundry facilities on the lower level wrapped everything together for a pleasant stay.
As a novice solo traveler I was well taken care of and gratefully offered an early check in. I chose a quieter room upon check in as there is a music venue attached It was a Led Zepplin tribute band that night they do a variety
It is Deluxe chic industrial Very clean and sleek but thoughtfully what you need
I Could spend a week It is in a busy but nice part of town everything within walking distance Leonardos down the block was delicious and very busy
and a brew at the beer garden...
Worst hotel by far. We did not get the room we booked, two queen beds, but we’re “upgraded” to a “deluxe” suite with two beds and a kitchen area. Dishes were dirty. Cutlery had peanut butter on the knives. Functioning oven but no oven mitts and one dirty, rusty baking tray. Light burned out above kitchen area (which the housekeeping staff replaced immediately). Tv did not work - picture was dark and the sound kept cutting in and out. Mould on bathroom ceiling and on hair dryer cord. Every...
Overall, I had a good 4-out-of-5-star stay at The Great George, which offers a quiet, incredibly convenient location right in the heart of downtown Charlottetown alongside a wonderfully comfortable bed for a great night's sleep. As an award-winning boutique hotel, it didn't completely wow me, but it covers the essentials well. A few details could use refinement: the in-room portable AC was on the louder side, the shower water pressure was a bit light, the parking spaces felt quite tight, and...
Very clean and cozy. Comfortable bed, friendly owners, and great included breakfast. No
parking lot but was easy enough to find street parking. Good location across from waterfront. We would stay here again.
Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly. Secure parking was available for a good price only one block away. Great location. Restaurant onsite was convenient and very good. Elevators were sometimes slow.
Charlotte's Rose was everything my daughter and I could have wished for on our trip to PEI. It was immaculate and charming, the staff were so friendly and helpful, and they literally thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Wish we could have been there longer. Will definitely stay here again next time we're in town!
I can't imagine anywhere else in Charlottetown being as nice, convenient, or relaxing! Breakfast was perfect- a mix of hot & cold items - and many things, like cereal, yogurt, fruit & coffee, were available 24/7. The staff were consistently friendly & helpful, the parking was easy, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent (it's the little things!).
