Copenhagen and related destinations
Fairy-tale spires rise above cobblestone streets where bicycles outnumber cars and locals swim in harbor baths cleaner than your drinking water. Tivoli Gardens offers old-world amusement park charm with gardens that would make any botanist weep. Nyhavn's colorful waterfront buildings frame canal tours where guides point out the Little Mermaid statue with apologetic shrugs. City Hall Square buzzes with activity while H.C. Anderson's Wonderful World celebrates the fairy tale author who captured Danish imagination. Duck into Wallmans Circus Building for dinner theater or contemplate the cosmos at Tycho Brahe Planetarium. The Danish Design Centre showcases why locals furnish homes with such enviable simplicity.

Wakeup Copenhagen Bernstorffsgade
"I loved how helpful the staff were in assistants us in finding an upgraded room with a spectacular view!"
Tivoli Hotel
"Clean and close to everything! Really good location!"
CABINN Copenhagen
"Very helpful staff and a clean room - all you can ask for a good night’s sleep."
Imperial Hotel
"Great location. Amazing breakfast buffet. Very helpful staff. Convenient bike rental. I would certainly stay there again. The only minor quibble is that the elevators are tiny and slow. We, on the second floor, often walked rather than waited for them. People on higher floors would have a problem. Stay there, but try to get a room on a low floor."
Next House Copenhagen - Hostel
"Really great place to stay, lots to do, great location and absolutely no faults at all. Nice to see a real variety of age groups and families there too"
Wakeup Copenhagen Carsten Niebuhrs Gade
"good"
CABINN City Hotel
"Small but efficient. Great value in superb location. Friendly, helpful staff. Will stay again."
CABINN Metro Hotel
"Convenient location for airport access. Rather small room so had challenges with our luggage and accessing a suitable power point for my wife's sleep apnea machine."
The Square
"The location is terrific, right across from Red House Square, a shot walk to the Metro, train station, and Tivoli Garden and it food hall. Even though on a busy street, the sound proofing was effective. The AC was a bit weak, not uncommon in a European hotel. But you can open a window, which I mostly did. Breakfast is decent, and I enjoyed the evening lounge with its included snacks and drinks. It was a great place to relax after a day of tours. I had great interactions with the desk staff."
