Glide through shimmering canals on a gondola while Renaissance palaces rise from the water like architectural magic tricks. St. Mark's Square buzzes with café life beneath the Byzantine splendor of its basilica. The Grand Canal presents a parade of palazzos best viewed from the Rialto Bridge, where merchants have haggled for centuries. Lose yourself in narrow calli where laundry flutters overhead and tiny bacari serve cicchetti with glasses of local prosecco. The Doge's Palace reveals opulent rooms where Venetian rulers once plotted their maritime empire. Teatro La Fenice offers world-class opera in a setting that has literally risen from the ashes multiple times.

Palazzo Veneziano
"Super helpful and friendly staff. Convenient to water taxis"
Hampton By Hilton Venice Isola Nuova
"Nice hotel. Great location close to vaporetto. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast had great options. Would definitely book again."
Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo
"Great location, charming property, pleasant and accommodating staff, and great breakfast. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a central location to experience Venice. A must stay for Venice “ first timers” … convenient to Piazza San Marco and all things uniquely Venice."
Hyatt Centric Murano Venice
"We stayed at the Hyatt Centric Venice Murano for 3 nights in Aug 2026, as part of a big family trip. We had a suite unit on floor 2. The hotel is designed very tastefully, with a lot of the renowned Murano glass on display. The suite has a loft bedroom area with a large king size bed, while the rest of the suite has a sofa bed that converts into 2 twin size beds, and a nice bathroom. Everything was quite clean and comfortable, esp after walking around all day in the hot August sun. We enjoyed the K cup coffee once, and our girls slept on the twin beds, but the space was a bit tight for a family of 4, which was expected. One little perk is the abundance of still and sparkling water in the minibar fridge. The hotel has a great spot right in front of the Murano Museo vaporetto stop which is accessible by lines 3 and 4.1. Staff were friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it."
Venezia Palazzo Barocci
"Location and view were fantastic. You can walk to St Mark plaza and restaurants/caffès around the area. Close to Rialto bridge too. You don’t need to haul your luggage’s because the hotel is right where you will get off from the water taxi. They assisted with airport and train transfers. Rica in front desk was helpful. However, we were almost charged for breakfast we didn’t consume. We booked 2 rooms and a breakfast was charged to one of our rooms when our Family actually left early that day for a tour so no way one of us went for breakfast. They showed us signed tab but signature didn’t belong to any of us. It took a few minutes for receptionists to take it off our final bill but they did eventually after commotion with restaurant staff. I take it they will check their security camera to figure which guest that was from their conversations . Just check your hotel bill upon check out. Overall, it was a convenient hotel to stay at."
Hotel Bella Venezia
"great staff, clean room, enjoyable stay"
Colombina Hotel
"In my opinion, this place is hidden gem. The staff are extremely accommodating and friendly and helpful. The room was always spotless and clean and when we had a missing piece of luggage, they kept us up-to-date and provided us some toiletries. They provide a speedboat cruise around Venice that picks you right up from the hotel. The buffet breakfast was really elegant and you got high-quality drinks. this hotel was close to everything the Mark Basilica, the Mark Square doge Palace shopping restaurants it’s really a terrific spot for a terrific price. Another great part was that the room was always cool and ready after a hot day."
Hotel Montecarlo
"The staff was warm and welcoming."
Hotel Diana
"I really liked staying at this hotel. It is so close to Saint Mark's Square but still really quiet. It's location made it super easy to go anywhere and do anything and still find your way back to the hotel. It was super clean and the cleaning staff was working hard every day. It is being managed by the other hotel about four feet across the street, so there is no one on-site. That didn't bother me, but it did mean that the lobby was unattended. Breakfast was in that other hotel every morning (just basic carbs and coffee machine coffee). The AC in the room worked great. The water was hot."
