Hard beds, very clean and very high altitude

Very clean three bedroom. Beds were so hard that none of us slept. Beware altitude of 10,500. Lovely surroundings! Won’t be back due to beds and altitude… breathing is tough.

The view of the mountains from our balcony is why we have chosen this place two years in a row. We also love the space that this place offers for our family of seven. The place may be just a bit outdated, we had trouble with some windows opening and the balcony door got stuck a few times. Our bathrooms were dimly lit in the penthouse. But, overall, we love staying here, and will hopefully stay again. The staff is very friendly and had quick resolutions to any issues we had. We love the trails nearby and the VIEW!

A Gold Star for Gold Point Resort

Never in our many years of staying in hotels around the world have we ever had a hotel contact us ahead of time about our planned stay in their facility. This was particularly valuable, because unknown to us, the USA Pro Challenge cycling event was in Breckenridge during our entire stay at Gold Point Resort. This big bike race affected the access to and from the resort on both days, so knowing the road closure hours ahead of time greatly facilitated enjoying our stay in the Colorado mountains. The resort even provided a gourmet buffet at lunch time on the day the access road was closed from 9 to 4. And yes, we enjoyed watching the bike races too. We recommend Gold Point Resort to anyone looking for a quiet retreat with breathtaking views of the Colorado Rockies.

Annual family ski trip

Beautiful place! This is our 2nd time staying at the resort. We stayed at the 3bedroom, 3 bath townhouse for our annual family ski trip. We love that it’s only 10 minutes into town with a pretty scenic drive. It’s dog friendly and affordable! The staff was professional and welcoming to us.

Great mountain views. Great layout and spacious. Kitchen was perfectly equipped, appliances pretty new. Loved the fireplace. Bus picks up right at the resort and takes takes you right to the gondola to ski. Negatives: Hot tub in the building was under filled and not very clean. Beds are very stiff.

Quiet and Comfortable stay with beautiful views

Pros Was warmly welcomed and checked in, even though we arrived an hour earlier than their official check-in time. We stayed in 7G. Room was very spacious, with large bedroom, comfortable king bed, big hot tub in the room, 1.5 baths. Large living room, large kitchen and dining area, decent-sized balcony with beautiful mountain view. It was very quiet and a relaxing stay. Cons Unit 7G is on the 3rd floor and since there are no elevators, we had to walk up and down the stairs, carrying heavy luggage. Since we're not used to the high elevation/thin air, both my wife and I were panting heavily each time at the top of the stairs, even though we're both very active individuals.

We were disappointed by how "not kept up" it appeared...the tile at garage entry was shattered so no bare feet inside! Everything was quite worn down. The furniture was uncomfortable and the lack of good kitchen products to use was frustrating.... broken pans, melted utensils.
