We travelled to the Swan Motel as we were attending a funeral locally. We picked the hotel due to the 11am check out and free breakfast offering but upon arrival was told that the listing on hotels.com had not been updated and there was now no breakfast included and check out was actually at 10am. The hotel did honour the free breakfast but we had to wait until the next morning to check on the check out time and was told that we could only stay until 10.30am. It was embarrassing to have to negotiate to receive what we paid for and during what was already a stressful and emotional time was not appreciated.
Having said that, the honeymoon suite we booked was incredible, very spacious, beautifully decorated and clean. My only complaint is that the very modern TV was not connected to the internet so we were not able to watch Netflix etc. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower and good size bath.
Removing the disappointment of the hotel listing being wrong, we had a good stay and would stay there again if we happened to be in the area.
