I stayed here for four nights and was amazed and impressed. The common areas are extremely elegant. My room was one of the best hotel rooms I have had in many years- large, comfortable and incredibly tasteful decoration. There were all sorts of small, generous touches that I really appreciated, like the the contents of the fridge being free until it is replenished (i.e. you get a beer a few cans of soft drink for free), lots and lots of bottled water. When they came to turn the sheets in the evening they brought small gifts. Food was very good- they have a Thai-Japanese fusion restaurant attached, staff were excellent- great service and very sweet.
Not quite everything is perfect, it's maybe a little awkward having the kitchen overlooking the pool, but overall everything is so good.
I know this area very well and I think this hotel is pretty much unique- there aren't any other real five star hotels around Nimman.
