The hotel was pleasant and modern, quiet, and the other guests seemed respectful. It is located in a peaceful part of the centre of the city, with easy access to everything. Whilst this was a self-contained apartment, cooking utensils were minimal. There was no TV or radio in the room. My double bed unfortunately consisted of two singles pushed together. I paid for breakfast, but found the main buffet area consisted of savoury cooked food I would have rather eaten for dinner. The continental alternative was very limited. If you wanted pastries you had to pay again, there was no bread apart from mini rolls, and no cereal. Staff at the cafe were also expecting me to bring breakfast vouchers, although I never ended up receiving any despite their apparent enquiries into the issue.
The concept of the hotel is great, and having the ability to eat in during the evening, as a lone traveler, is lovely. However, if it also provided some of the things people traditionally look for in certain areas, it would tick all of the boxes.
