I didn't realize the hotel doesn't have an elevator, which was difficult for my 93 yr old mother, but they helped accommodate us by moving us to the 1st from the 3rd floor. "Our stay at Hotel Charles-Alexandre was lovely! The location just off the Plains of Abraham park was wonderful for walking into the Old Town. The park, the river and a choice of cafes and restaurants are all in easy reach. The room itself was clean, spacious and pretty! There is no staff on site so we didn’t meet a single staff member but they were very communicative by text - checking in on us daily."
