"Clean room straight out of the 60’s or 70’s, staff was nice, good parking. Would recommend for sure. Trying to cross the streets around there is like playing the game frogger, lots of traffic, but couldn’t hear it from the room."

"The Freehand is my go to place every time I'm in Chicago. It is a bohemian treasure and attracts interesting tourists, many from Europe. Good location, just by Eataly in the River North area, and I always have no trouble finding nearby parking on SpotHero. I've stayed here a few times now, and it feels like my 2nd home in Chicago.
