Konoba Luviji is a fine choice when you want to experience traditional Croatian cuisine. Set in a renovated wine cellar, the eatery is owned by a family that has a long history of producing high-quality wine, olives and seafood dishes. The restaurant also includes a rooftop terrace, which provides stellar views of St. Stephen’s Cathedral and Hvar Fortress on the surrounding hillside.
At Konoba Luviji, you're presented with a refined menu of Dalmatian dishes. The options keep things relatively simple but delicious, with many of the ingredients served coming straight from the owner's farm. The restaurant also holds an excellent reputation for both its homemade red and white wine varieties.

Konoba Menego

Konoba Menego is a classic Dalmatian dining spot located along one of Hvar Town's mazy laneways. This charming restaurant is decorated with a collection of artefacts and old photographs from across Hvar. There's also a small patio if you want to dine al fresco.
Like many authentic Croatian restaurants, Konoba Menego's menu is reasonably modest. There are marinated meats, fresh cheeses and locally grown vegetables, alongside fresh seafood platters, salads and pasta. The owners also have a vineyard on the nearby island of Sveti Klement, which produces excellent Croatian wines.
