The hotel is really nice, our 2-queen room was really large, lots of space and a nice-sized fridge too. It’s just a bit old and you can tell they’ve tried to fix up little things that are damaged over the years, and the fixes don’t look cosmetically great, for example there was extra caulking around the tub that was kind of globbed on. But if all you’re doing is sleeping there, it doesn’t matter much. For the price we paid it was very good value. The Firestone restaurant was really good too! Excellent food and cocktails. The only thing I didn’t like is some of the “visitors” there who I think were accessing the VLT lounge, or just hanging out in the parking lot. I wondered if my vehicle was safe there, but it ended up fine. They might benefit from some security maybe, making sure some of the transient folks keep moving on. There were no incidents, so I didn’t bring it up with the hotel staff, to be fair. All in all, great value for our stay.
