Lovely guest house situated in walking distance of the town centre, bars and restaurants. Beautiful garden. Room was warm and cosy. Tea making facilities in the room. We had our little dog with us and were provided with dog bowls, treats, blankets, towels and poo bags. Lovely touch. Our stay was brief as we had a long journey home.

Exceptionally well maintained property.Very quirky theme throughout but done with thought..Room very comfortable ,very clean,very well decorated.Loved the breakfast hamper ,good selection of choices.The hosts were very nice and obviously worked hard keeping an old building to a high standard. Definitely would recommend .

We had a fantastic stay at Puddle Duck Lodge. The attention to detail throughout the lodge was excellent and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It's in a great location, offering everything we needed, and we felt it was excellent value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. We hope to return again one day!

Great place to stay. Very clean and well maintained. Lots of nice little touches. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and plenty of food. I would definitely look at booking Puddle Duck Lodge when I visit the Lake District again.

Lovely B&B the owners were very friendly and helpful, free parking was a great bonus and only a few minutes walk from the centre we really enjoyed the breakfast, we would definitely stay again next time we are visiting Bowness on Windermere.

We visited the Lakes District for a 4 day vacation and came across this delightful boutique bed and breakfast lodge. We were absolutely delighted with our stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room, and the rest of the lodge, were tastefully decorated and cosy. The breakfast was excellent, being continental in style, but very large. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the main part of Bowness-on-Windermere, with multiple cafes and easy walking access to the pier. Parking is available, which is important since parking is at a premium around Bowness. Importantly, the Dales Walking track is also easily accessible and can take you to a number of outstanding lookouts over Lake Windermere and surrounds. Highly recommend this lodge for a comfortable and cosy stay.

Small unique B&B property in the English Lake District near Lake Windermere. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants in the village. Beautiful garden in front yard. Relatively small room, but very comfortable, including the four-poster bed!
