An historic hotel with excellent staff! Mediterranean restaurant is fantastic. Rooms were spacious. Free breakfast of coffee, eggs, sausage and pasteries was also good. Hotel is refurbishing the elevator, which was the only drawback. I'd definitely stay there again.

Love this beautiful old place. Management was wonderful to work with us while the elevator is being fixed. Breakfast was delicious with homemade granola and great hot options. The decor is lovely. Friendly staff. We would stay here again any time we are in Concord.

For the most part the Centennial was excellent. The only downside was the elevators were out of order. The location is exceptional, within walking distance of restaurants and the State Capital Building. The staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast had good variety.

The historic hotel was a nice 1 day stay. Room was very big. The area beautiful. A little too far to walk to town. Concord is a wonderful historic place. The air conditioning left a lot to be desired but overall a fine hotel at a good price.

Everything was pretty except for the water pressure in the shower. I would have appreciated if they had proper water flow/pressure. I felt cold while taking shower which is not the experience I want visiting the east coast.

Floor of the room was not clean. Dust and hair. Incuded breakfast was decent. Room was spacious and the beds were fairly comfortable. AC worked well and the room did not smell. Elevator was down so we had to take the stairs on the 3rd floor

The hotel has historical charm and character and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful -- but the place has deteriorated significantly over time. I stayed a couple of years ago and enjoyed the restaurant (closed now) and thought it was well-maintained. That's no longer the case -- elevator broken, exercise room rather decrepit, room was ok but the only air conditioner was a window unit, sink was not draining well. Any one of these is understandable but in combination, it conveys the impression that there is a need for a major overhaul to fulfill the hotel's potential. The continental breakfast was good, the usual with more fresh fruit than is typical.

This was an unplanned stay. We found it online and because it was close we stay. Got there minutes before midnight. Very cool old building but the elevator was out so we had to walk up to the 3dr floor and at that time of the night it wasn’t fun. The room was clean and the staff was very nice. The continental breakfast was just ok once I figured out the waffle maker. If I had to choose a place in the area again I’d stay here.

Beautiful historic building with charm and character. Our room was big and very comfortable, the bed was great and most importantly the HVAC was whisper quiet. Only issue was the elevator was out of order but not a big deal as they gave us a room on the second floor.

A unique and charmful spot to stay! Would recommend as the size of the room and bathroom are very large. The beds are quite comfortable. The breakfast was a nice touch. Very clean. The only downfall is the elevator does not work and based on past reviews it hasn't for a while. Didn’t deter us any but may be hard for older guests climbing stairs with luggage but the hosts did offer assistance if needed.

Picking hair clumps off stone shower walls was bad. No elevator working for a long time (not mentioned in any ads). Pure cold continental breakfast. Waffles do NOT count as hot food. No restaurant or bar and "maybe October." You should do better with your description of amenities and building condition given your location and prices.

What an interesting and unusual hotel. From the outside, it looks like an 1885 castle/mansion (not sure the actual year of construction). From the inside, it looks like a very nice early 2000s (?) corporate hotel. Huge rooms, super clean. Quiet. Easy parking. A good in-town choice, but the unusual character of the outside is not reflected on the inside.
