Off the tourist trail

Hotel was warm and welcoming, room was large and well maintained. Location is not set up for tourists, but plenty of places to eat that are cheap and the area was safe at night. Although not in a tourist location it was a15 minute walk up to Hradcanska, but also very close to Dejvicka transport links. Train takes 10 minutes to the Old Town.

Good location

Room was clean and the size was good. However the bathroom (more a wet room) is very small and has no shower curtains. The breakfast was good but it is not easy to get an table. The location is great since there are some good restaurant around, Metro and streetcar station and even in walking distance to the castle of I don't mind a 30 min walk.

Das ist höchstens ein zwei sterne....

Teppich unrein, Tv programme nur zdf, luftkanal verbindet Zimmer - sicherheit null, Türgriff defekt, trotz hinweis - keine Reparatur, Aufzug gerade für 3 dünne Personen, Fenster können von Aussen vom Balkon geöffnet werden, Personal sehr unfreundlich, Rezeption kaum besetzt, dann sehr unfreundlich , nicht entgegenkommend, Frühstück sehr dürftig und schnell leer, Auffüllen kommt nicht in Frage, ....ein guten morgen. ..guten Tag oder Aufwiedersehen gibts im Hotel wohl nicht....Fazit : Dieses Hotel nie wieder...eine Frechheit das das 4 Sterne hat....

Good value for price

We stayed at Hotel Meda the evening before our flight. The room was a great price and the location was cool. All TV channels were blurry and breakfast was wanting.

Dostupnosť výborná, metro aj elektricky,Raňajky výborne veľký výber. Hotel 4* si myslím nesplna.Trojlôžková izba veľmi malá, s kúpeľni sa nedalo otočiť, uteráky špinavé alebo zle oprate.Celkovo stara izba.Problémy s výťahom, Personál milý ústretový.

Если главное дешевизна и близость к метро.

Отель не тянет на 4 звезды, даже кое в чем и на 3. Не тянет по всем параметрам и по мелочам, даже если тянуть и закрыть глаза на некоторые неудобства. Единственные плюсы - это дешевизна в низкий сезон после 1 ноября и близость к зеленой (туристической) ветке метро. Поэтому и выбирали.

Can't be beaten for the price we paid!

My friend and I needed a hotel room for the night in Prague after driving from Zurich to Munich to Prague in one day and we did a quick search using expedia and behold we were able to get a triple bed room for $39 AUD per night. So for that price per night you can't really complain about anything in the hotel. But when looking at the 4 Stars the hotel claims to have it seemed to us that the 4 Star Hotel rating in Prague perhaps differs from other countries because that hotel, to me, wasn't a 4 star hotel. Staff, though not rude, yet they were unprofessional in their job. The Breakfast area seemed to me like an old school Cafeteria where barely 20 people fit and for a hotel that big that's quite bad. I had to eat my breakfast standing up until a kind lady came and asked me to join her and her husband at their table. Beds were comfortable although the room was over heated I had to open the window and let in the -3 Degree wind into the room in order for me to sleep comfortably. But again when I look at the fact that my friend and I each paid $19.50 per person per night for this spacious room with triple beds, I really can't complain whatsoever and I actually enjoyed my stay there despite the many improvements the hotel needs.

Huonot unet

Huone ei vastannut mukavuudeltaan sitä, mitä netissä annetaan ymmärtää. Sängyistä puuttui petauspatjat, joten nukkuminen kovalla ja kuhmuisella patjalla oli vaikeaa. Hotellin yleisilme on aika nuhjuinen. Aamiainen oli kuitenkin hyvä ja maukas. Plussaa hotelli saa myös sijainnista, sillä metro-asema ja ratikkapysäkit ovat lähellä ja matka keskustaan sujuu nopeasti. Kuten myös matka lentokentälle.

Convenient little spot away from downtown Prague.

We stayed overnight in Prague while traveling thru Czech Republic. The hotel is out of downtown area, and very convenient to Public Transport and several good restaurants. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and spoke English (not German). The "free" parking is on the street. The room was comfortable but not fancy. Breakfast was included and good.

空港からバスで一本。リーズナブルで素敵なホテル！

空港からバスに乗れば終点なので迷わずに辿り着けます。ホテルの方はとても親切で、私が空港に忘れ物をした際にはわざわざ電話で問い合わせてくれてくれました。ご飯も種類が豊富で美味しかったですし、部屋は清潔で非常に快適でした！価格もリーズナブルなので、またチェコに行った際には是非利用したいです。

Für den Preis perfekt!

Wir haben einen Kurztrip nach Prag geplant und nach einem Hotel, so günstig wie möglich gesucht. Mit Arte Meda sind wir fündig geworden. FÜr den Preis waren meine Erwartungen sehr gering. Umso positiver wurde ich überrascht. Wir fanden ein sehr sauberes und gut ausgestattetes Zimmer vor und wurden freundlich vom Personal behandelt. Das Frühstückbuffet ist dürftig, aber völlig ausreichend. Das Hotel liegt ein wenig ausserhalb der Innenstadt, doch hat eine perfekt Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Nur wenige Schritte und man erreicht Busse, Bahnen und U-Bahn. Noch dazu kommt, dass die Tagestickets mit umgerechnet 3 Euro mehr als erschwinglich sind. Wir waren super zufrieden, empfehlen es gern weiter und schließen einen erneuten Besuch nicht aus!

Decent hotel in a good location.

This hotel is located a casual 30-min walk from Old Square via some beautiful parks, castle, and over the river..so there's plenty to see along the walk. The staff were very good and the condition of the hotel was on par with what to expect for the money. The hotel is on a street of the main road but there is hardly any traffic, and the windows block out all the noise. The only thing that let it down for me were the fact that the advertised king bed was actually two singles put together. Also, the flush is very loud, which was only am issue as when ofher rooms used their toilet it caused the cistern in my room to empty and fill. Woke me up a few times during the night. All in all though, it wouldn't be the worst thing if I stayed there again.
