This Hotel is terrible. I booked through online. I paid with credit card for 2 days. When I went to hotel front desk, Asian Indian lady who was working in front desk told me that I had to pay $50 damage deposit which will be refunded to my credit card after check out, in 7 to 10 business days. I believed her and paid $50. I got in my room that smelled like abandoned property. This room had no refrigerator at all. I could not preserve my food or drink healthy. I left this hotel after 2 days of stay. I called this hotel contact number 570-328-4753 asked if everything is set for my refund. Asian Indian rep said everything is OK, I have to allow 7 to 10 business days for refund to my card. After 2 weeks I called hotel, customer service rep said they had no record of my stay, refund or room number that I stayed in for refund. So I contacted Hotel.com. in Hotel.com chat, I explained rep the situation. Rep contacted hotel and said that OYO Hotel told Hotel.com rep that OYO hotel had me in their record as no show, so there is no question about damage deposit refund, because OYO Hotel record showed as I never checked in. I said Hotel.com rep that I had credit card already posted $50. I sent Hotel.com rep through email picture of credit card transactions. Now Hotel.com rep told me this transaction was in Casino Countryside Inn name, that is not OYO Hotel name, but both are at same address at 1 Pittston Blvd, Wilkes-Barre, PA.
