The room appeared to be fine at first, but then we had one issue after another.
1 - The television system wouldn't allow us to watch live TV and each channel asked us to download an app in order to watch something. As we were from another country, we weren't able to do this.
2- We tried to call the front desk to ask about this, but the phone didn't work.
3- In the morning, the hairdryer didn't work. We tried everything we could to make it work with no luck.
4 - When we came back from breakfast, the toilet wouldn't flush. We had to remove the lid from the tank and lift the bar in the tank.
5- We were packing up and getting ready to leave when the housekeeping staff knocked on our door at 11:02 am and asked if we were checking out as they were there to clean the room. To say we were shocked was an understatement as the front desk told us check out was Noon.
6- When checking out at the front desk, we informed the front desk person of all the issues that we encountered and she just appeared to be apathetic about it. I reiterated the issues and again she didn't seem to take it seriously. When we mentioned that housekeeping knocked on our door an hour earlier than check-out time, she said they had changed it from 11 am to Noon a few weeks ago. I questionned why the staff didn't know this and she just repeated what she said.
We travel quite a lot and were disappointed by the issues we encountered and the lack of customer service when we reported this.
