Could be better?
At check in one representative acknowledged us but another took over. She did not explain clearly what and why she was doing which prompted us to question. Example why our information , had prepaid but advised quickly for security incase we wanted drinks or snak in the room( later discovered no snaks were in the room but down stairs .. we had 2 rooms reserved .. handed us 2 keys without explaining ; my husband asked for 4 keys so we could each have our room ( 4 of us ) she said what ?and once realized said that is what I’m working on now … once completed we asked if good to go and she said yes… we never thought to ask for wifi password nothing provided . We dined there and the waitress was very personable but made a deal with my salmon meal that if I did not like the rice she would gladly give me some mashed potatoe . My meal came shortly after other 3 I went to the washroom and was there when I got back. The only time we saw her again was after we were finished our meals awaiting a bill . She never once inquired if I liked the rice or checked on us. During check out the next morning( the two representatives were wonderful! ) we did mention the digital tv reception was terrible , we were unable to watch it .. kept pausing picture distorted in and out They thanked us for letting them know . This was our first stay at Rodd Inn , recommended by a frequent guest. We felt for the price paid did not meet our expectations .
