The hotel is ideally located right outside the major hustle and bustle of the area but still within walking distance to most restaurants and dessert places. The hotel is beautiful. The staff are well trained and the manager provided us with a fantastic dinner recommendation and took the time to walk us through some of the sights we should see in the area and throughout Lisbon. Our room very comfortable. The bed was the perfect firmness, shower was large and the fridge well stocked. We had a drink at the bar before dinner and they were accommodating with our allergies. Breakfast was delicious. They had a variety of options, including fresh fruit, cheeses, yogurts, various types of bread, pastries, eggs, hams, cereals, and granola. They also had a variety of juices and coffees. We did not make use of the pool or gym, but they looked well maintained and inviting. We would have gone for a swim, but it was not quite warm enough (even for us Canadians). Wonderful stay and the perfect way to end our trip to Portugal.

The hotel is clean, and the staff are friendly. However, only one lift is working; I found a few ants in the bathroom; the air con is controlled by reception, and you have to ask reception for the lock to the safe.
