Toda nuestra estancia ha sido perfecta. El personal muy amable, el lugar muy bonito y nuevo, la ubicación estupenda (nosotros teníamos coche y nos movíamos así). Muy recomendable para pasar unas buenas vacaciones tranquilas cerca de Sorrento.

Shuttle service sucks, they will send different shuttle everytime and is not mentioned which hotel its going to and drivers wouldn’t tell either and we missed our shuttle, We stayed 4 nights and Ac of our room didn’t work and staff kept saying its on and wouldn’t help.

Despite its location away from the town and coast, this is an excellent hotel. The staff on the reception desk are very friendly and extremely helpful. In the bar and restaurant the staff are charming and try to make everything possible. Breakfast is comprehensive and the bar and restaurant have something for everyone. The room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped, with a view of Vesuvius to die for! There is a shuttle bus to go to Seiano and Vico Equense. The times may not be very often, but they fit with boat trips to the Amalfi Coast (arranged by reception). Unfortunately, the road going past the hotel was extremely busy when we were there (at the end of September) - often blocked solid, and the road coming out of the hotel parking is extremely dangerous and quite frightening. It is really only possible to leave in the direction of Sorrento, find somewhere to turn and come back again to go towards Naples. This is the only negative point I can find.

My family had the best experience at this hotel. From the front staff to the dining staff. Top notch. Friendly, helpful, and just wonderful people wanting to make our stay, perfect. The hotel is historic dating back to the 12th century. Thank you, Hotel Torre Barbara staff!

Was a very nice stay . Had everything I needed . The people were very nice there and the rooms were very clean. It is right off the main road but I didn’t really hear the cars passing by from my room. The shower is really great with lots of water pressure. I would stay here again !

Correct my English: a beautiful little gem hotel - the garden and the pool are so beautiful and relaxing, the view is forgettable, the staff extremely nice and helpful, and breakfast and dinner were very good with excellent service. The only drawback is access to the hotel if you don't have a car, especially on weekends: transportation was very limited. The worst point was the shuttle - not often enough, the driver was rude, late, missed some of the stops and left guests to wait, and even stopped to chat for 10 minutes with a friend on the way, having us all waiting for him in the bus ... A beautiful little gem of a hotel. The garden and pool are stunning and very relaxing. The view is unforgettable, and the staff are extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were very good, with excellent service. The only drawback is access to the hotel if you don’t have a car, especially on weekends: public transportation is very limited. The worst part was the hotel shuttle: it didn’t run often enough, the driver was rude and late, missed some stops and left guests waiting, and even stopped to chat for 10 minutes with a friend on the way, leaving everyone on the bus waiting for him to come back .

The team here was stupendously amazing! If there are better words please insert them! They were all amazing. I left my backpack with medications in it and they worked out getting it delivered to me in Gavorrano (sp) as I was on a train to Florence. We took a day trip to Capri and my wife got seasick and their culinary group adjusted and made a special meal for her and delivered it to our room. If you like great red wine their choices are amazing and I highly recommend trying The Ischia wine which is the island to the right if you’re heading to Capri. Loved every aspect of this hotel. Wish it had been closer to Sorrento’s port but every dime the travel cost was worth it for the Staff, Food, Great Wine and the Sunsets.

Overall phenomenal hotel. Great breakfast and shuttle service. Only downside was property did not reach out before stay to coordinate shuttle pick up or explain how to get to hotel as it’s difficult roads there. Other than that we loved the place and would definitely go back.
