We loved our stay at the Villas. The Villa we were in had three different units which appeared to be typical of the other villas too. It was in a jungle-type setting with beautiful tropical plants, and even iguanas. My only caveat, we were in a unit on the third floor. The stairs up to the unit were winding, like climbing a lighthouse. We are in our 70’s and were able to do it, but I could certainly see where it would be very difficult for “older” folks or dangerous for children. So, be careful what you book. We didn’t know that was what we were going to get. Our unit didn’t have any type of balcony either which I missed. But it looked recently decorated and was clean and lovely. The beach was wonderful with plenty of lounge chairs for everyone.

The location was very unique, it had a great garden. Swimmingpool was not to big, but it was lovely and great swimming. The beach at the hotel is why you visit Holbox, powdered beach and blue water. The rooms are very nice, modern a bit Bali style and a lovely balcony. Keep aware of not taking icecubes it made us sick.
